The 117641-55R is the replacement for the 117641-55. It has the updated Intell II logic board and has the same form, fit, and function as 117641-05 and 117641-55.

In fact, Windjammer blowers can operate for 20,000 hours at continuous duty. Some of the major industries in which these blowers appear are: (a) healthcare (medical and dental); (b) materials handling; (c) air sampling; (d) fume evacuation; and (e) business machines (e.g., packaging and printing). Ametek DFS Windjammer brushless DC blowers are found in a variety of equipment within the printing industry. For example, these blowers use both air flow and vacuum functions for handling (holding or separating) paper. An Ametek Windjammer blower can also be used for cooling, ink drying, toner control, and laser imaging, among many other applications. Many of these blowers we sell are used in popular paper handling machines (printing presses, folders, collators) manufactured by OEMs such as Heidelberg, Horizon, and HP.
The Ametek Windjammer brushless DC blower model/part # 117641-55 is commonly used in printing applications; for example: collators, book binders, folders, and copiers. Specifically, the Ametek Windjammer 117641-55 blower is used in printing / printer press applications for Heidelberg machines (Part # A4.179.1501 / RFH-82 / 05; SM102 / 74 / 52 / QM46 / StahlKH78). We have also sold the 117641-55 blower for Watkiss Vario collators.
This part is RoHS Compliant. The blower is manufactured with an inlet tube on the working fan shell (see our photos). This 117641-55 model has special calibrated air performance for its specific application. Part number 117641-55 replaces the Ametek Windjammer model 117641-05.
