The Ametek DFS Windjammer 5.7”/145mm brushless DC blower motor is a compact, reliable, fully controllable, and long-lasting solution for air handling. In fact, Windjammer blowers can operate for 20,000 hours at continuous duty. Some of the major industries in which these blowers appear are: (a) healthcare (medical and dental); (b) materials handling; (c) air sampling; (d) fume evacuation; and (e) business machines (e.g., packaging and printing). Ametek Windjammer blower 117641-46 is manufactured with a 1.75" diameter inlet tube on the motor fan shell (see our photos). The blower also features an anti-torque adhesive on the potentiometer, as well as a potentiometer access hole which is covered with a metal foil tape disc. The printed circuit board (PCB) is coated with silicon and there is a modified low voltage power supply on the PCB. This part is non-RoHS Compliant.
