The DR858 family of blowers are often used in cement applications involving mixing and loading or cement and other industrial blower applications. The high flow output is great for moving large amounts of air at low-medium pressures. This blower is found in different types of dust collection machinery or conveying applications.
This is the rail-mount variant of the 10 HP DR858. Looking for the base mount version? Click here for the DR858BB72X.

The Ametek Rotron DR 858 series regenerative direct drive blower is designed for commercial spas, as well as hotels/motels, health clubs, and condominiums. These applications require a continuous duty blower with low noise levels (compliant with OSHA standards). The Ametek Rotron DR 858 series is manufactured in the USA. It is compliant with ISO 9001 requirements as well as with CE Marking standards (Declaration of Conformity available upon request). The blower housing is composed of cast aluminum with cast iron threaded flanges, and the motor is UL and CSA approved, as it contains permanently sealed ball bearings and Class B rated thermal protection.
Additional options of the Rotron DR regenerative blower include: (a) corrosion resistant surface treatments and sealing options; (b) remote drive-motorless-models; and (c) slip-on or face flanges for application-specific needs.
The maximum operating temperature for the motor should not exceed 140°C (Class F rated motors), and the maximum temperature of the outlet air for the blower should not exceed 140°C (this includes air temperature rise plus inlet temperature). The maximum pressure and suction/vacuum figures seen in the air flow x pressure performance curves (see datasheet, page 2) are based on a 40°C inlet and ambient temperature.
